Fighting For Her Read online

“Happy New Year, baby.” I said softly, finally releasing her from my embrace and we both lifted our glasses, filled to the brim with Champagne and toasted to a new year and new beginnings. I watched on as Reagan tilted her champagne flute, taking the entire contents of her glass down in one sip and then she turned to refill her glass and it was as if everything was suddenly moving in slow motion.

The ring was burning a hole in my pocket as I knelt down on to one knee and before I knew it time was moving at a regular pace and Reagan had turned back around, her beautiful brown eyes widening to the size of golf balls when she saw me on bended knee.

I couldn’t help but smile as I watched her hands fly to her mouth, covering it in shock as the tears began to pool. Quickly slipping my hand into my pocket I pulled out the black velvet box that was practically on fire and held it between the palms of my hands as I began, “Reagan Larson, I love you, everything about you, the way you giggle when something is funny, your earth shattering smile, the way your cheeks flush when you’re embarrassed, your passion for the things you care most about, your dedication, I even love your panic attacks, but mostly I love who I am when I’m with you. I can’t imagine feeling this way with any other person, Reagan. You are my world, my life, and without you I have nothing. There is nothing on this earth I’d rather have than your hand in marriage and to build a future with you.”

I popped the top of the ring box and instantly saw the sparks in Reagan’s eyes, she knew exactly who this ring belonged to and I could tell by her reaction that she was utterly taken aback as the tears began to fall down her cheeks.

As I reached out for her hand I continued, “Reagan Larson, would you do me the greatest honor of becoming my wife?”

She began to shake her head up and down, but there were no words coming out of her mouth. I took the ring from the box and slid it on to her finger before releasing her hand. I held her beautiful face between the palms of my hands and finally kissed her lips for the very first time as my fiancé.

As I stood there, peering into her tear filled eyes I whispered, “Is that a yes? I know you shook your head, but you never said it.”

My heart clenched as I waited for her response and then released as Reagan began to laugh through her tears, “Yes, Cole Conrad, there is no other person I’d rather spend the rest of my life with than you.”

I stood there for a moment and realized that everything I’d ever wanted was finally happening. I scooped her up into my arms and carried her from the living room into the master bedroom where the fireplace was lighting up the room in shades of orange and gold as snowflakes fell outside of the bay windows.

I laid her down on to the plush down comforter I kissed her lips tenderly before removing each article of clothing from her magnificent body, “Marry me, right now. I’ll call in to town and have them send someone out to perform the service. I want you forever and I want forever to start right now, marry me, Reagan.” I kissed my way up her soft legs as she squirmed and giggled beneath my lips.

“You know we can’t do that, Cole. We need to be with our families.” She laughed.

“Marry me. It can be tomorrow, but I can’t wait a minute longer than that. Marry me, Reagan.”

I slipped the rest of my clothes off as I continued kissing her body, now working my way from the bottom of her belly through the middle of her chest.

When I finally reached her lips I kissed them hard before pulling back and staring deep into her eyes as if there was nothing else on this earth but the two of us, “Marry me tomorrow?”

Reagan’s hands slid up my triceps and gripped them, “Right now all I want is to make love to my fiancé for the very first time.” Her eyes blazed just as bright as the fire and that was my undoing, I couldn’t resist her any longer. Sinking deep into her I fulfilled her wish for the rest of the night and well into the next morning.

  CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

  SEVEN MONTHS LATER

As I stood at the front of the church I couldn't help but think about the very first time I saw Reagan walking down an aisle toward me in Case and Addison’s wedding. I thought in that moment she’d never look more beautiful, but I was wrong, very wrong. The sound of Richard Wagner’s Wedding March began and the doors at the back of the church opened revealing my soon to be wife. In awe of the woman who was about to become mine, I stood there, mesmerized.

With Theo at her side she began her descent down the aisle toward me, practically floating in her lace gown which hugged every single curve of her perfect body. All eyes were locked on her and I knew exactly why, she was the most beautiful person in the room, hell on the planet. When she arrived at the alter I couldn’t help but notice the tears welling up in her eyes.

The pastor quickly caught both of our attention, “Who gives this woman away?”

Theo placed Reagan’s hand into mine while saying, “Teresa and I give her away in honor of her parents.”

Reagan leaned in as he kissed her cheek and then averted her eyes back to me as she whispered so only the two of us would hear, “You look so handsome.”

Her hands resting in mine, I squeezed them, “Stop talking or I’m going to kiss you before I have permission.”

Reagan giggled lightly then looked back to the pastor and listened intently to everything he was saying. He spoke about our promise and commitment to each other, about how we needed to never let anything come between us. I tried my best to center my attention on what he was saying, but I was in utter awe of my bride.

I did my best to concentrate on the ceremony, but all I could hear were the words you may kiss the bride playing on repeat in my head. We recited our vows, promising to love one another in sickness and in health, for rich or for poor, as long as we both shall live. And then the moment I’d been waiting for. The moment that I never in my wildest dreams imagined would come true, especially with Reagan.

The pastor looked at the both of us and with a smile on his face he nodded in my direction, “You may kiss your beautiful bride.”

Reagan’s face was beaming and I could feel the smile on my face spread from ear to ear as I lifted my hands and cupped her delicate cheeks. I slowly leaned down and placed my lips onto hers, the saltiness lingering from the tears she shed during the ceremony. My tongue slowly slipped passed her lips as I tasted the inside of her mouth, as my wife for the very first time. I slowly pulled back and I couldn’t help but stare into her big brown eyes before leaning back in for another kiss.

Her smile so wide, all I got this time was teeth. Reagan pulled back and began to laugh as we both turned and stood before all of our family and friends, for the first time, as husband and wife. The music began, Reagan looped her arm through mine and we made our way toward the back of the church.

The photographer was right in our faces, but I needed a moment alone with my wife. Gripping her hand I pulled her into the bridal suite and slammed the door behind us. My hands flew to her ass, not even worrying about possibly ripping the lace that was covering her body. I pulled her up against me and consumed her lips.

Reagan soon pulled away and I tried to keep her close, “Babe, don’t go, I want to take you right here, right now, in this church.”

She erupted in laughter, slipping her hands up my chest and locking them behind my neck, “We may be married, but there is no way I’m sleeping with you in the house of the Lord.”

When she put it that way it made sense, but it didn’t change the fact that there was a bulge in my pants that wouldn’t stop growing, “Fine, but on the way to the reception, you’re all mine.”

We both laughed as I reached for the door of the bridal suite, finally allowing the photographer and all of our wedding party in.

“Are you ready to do this Mrs. Conrad?” I asked Reagan as we stood outside of the reception room at The Bellevue. She nodded and almost on command the double doors swung open just as the DJ made his announcement, “Introducing, for the very first time in public, Mr. & Mrs. Colton Conrad!
The room exploded into applause as Reagan and I made our way through the masses of guest and onto the dance floor.

Reagan passed her bouquet off to a very pregnant Addison before I slipped an arm around her hips, pulling her perfect body up against me so we could share our very first dance as husband and wife.

Her brown eyes locked with mine as the sound of our song, Borrow My Heart by Taylor Henderson, began to play. I’d suggested using her parents’ song as our own, but she wanted to use ours instead. We both began to sway to the beat of the song, Reagan looking up into my eyes as I lead her around the dance floor, “I love you, Cole.” She whispered and my heart began to beat faster, “I love you too.” I said leaning to kiss her perfect lips.

I pulled her up against me even tighter as we continued our way around the dance floor. I could feel the beating of Reagan’s heart begin to flutter against my chest. Looking down into her eyes I asked, “You okay?” And in that moment she lit up and looked like she was about to explode with excitement. I couldn’t help but smile at how beautiful she was, she was glowing.

Her soft voice began to whisper, “I’ve got to tell you something, but you can’t make a big deal out of it, promise me Cole, not here, not now. We can talk later, but I can’t take it any longer, I have to tell you.”

“What is it?” I begged, curious as to what could be so important and that’s when she said it, in the middle of our first dance as husband and wife, those two words that would change our lives forever.

  “I’m pregnant.”

My body stopped moving mid song and I just stared into her eyes, shocked, but so happy. I’d never expected Reagan to get pregnant before we’d gotten married, but I’ll be perfectly honest when I say we weren’t doing anything to prevent it, in fact we were practicing almost every day.

Her whisper brought me out of my own head, “Keep dancing,” she giggled, doing her best to move my body.

Following her cue I dipped my wife dramatically before pressing my lips to hers, hard; allowing all of my emotions to radiate through that kiss. I wanted her to know that not only had she made me the happiest person alive by becoming my wife today, but now she was pregnant with a baby, our baby and I couldn’t have been more elated.

I released her from my kiss just as the song ended and the smile on her face told me that she was just as excited as I was. As we stood there, taking it all in Reagan rested her head against my shoulder, “We’ll tell our families tonight, but other than that we keep our lips sealed.” Her eyes peered up at me and I nodded in complete agreement.

  ****

As I sat at the head table I looked onto the dance floor, and watched my bride as she danced with each of the men in her life to her and her father’s song, Ballerina Girl by Lionel Richie, with tears streaming down her face. Addison was to my right, the tears trickling down her face as well. I reached over and grabbed her hand, squeezing it as she rested the other atop of her baby bump. “You be good to her, give her anything she wants, you understand me.”

I shot her a wink and squeezed her hand even tighter, “Understood.” Addison knew she had nothing to worry about. Reagan was my life and she knew that I would spend the rest of my days giving her everything her heart could ever desire and then some, but she was Reagan’s best friend and therefore required to make her point clear.

We both sat there together through the remainder of the song, standing in applause as it came to an end and Theo kissed Reagan’s cheek before handing her back off to me. I wiped her tears before I leaned in and kissed her forehead, “I love you, Reagan Conrad. Your parents are certainly proud of you.”

She lifted up on her tip toes and kissed my lips, “The only thing that makes not having them here better is having you and this baby for the rest of my life.”

  CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

The reception was a huge success; the entire day had been everything we could have ever dreamed of and then some. Finally telling my parents, Teresa, Theo, Case and Addison about the baby had been the icing on the cake. They were all overjoyed with excitement, but they’d have to celebrate together because I was ready to get Reagan out of there. We may have already created a baby, but that wasn’t going to stop me from having my way with my beautiful bride on the night of our wedding.

We rushed through the lines of guest waving sparklers in the air as they cheered for the two of us. The limo driver opened the door and before we got in I slipped an arm around Reagan, pulling her body up against mine knowing that she was now feeling the growing bulge in my pants pressing up against her. Molding my lips to hers I kissed my wife in front of all of our family and friends before we slipped away toward our honeymoon.

The private jet was awaiting our arrival when the limo pulled up. Reagan’s eyes lit up, “I didn’t realize we were leaving tonight, I thought we’d be able to consummate this marriage in private?” Her eyebrow lifted as she spoke.

A light chuckle slipped passed my lips as I took her hand and led her up the stairs, through the common area and straight into the private master bedroom on board. Closing the door behind me I lifted my fingers toward the zipper of her dress and began pulling it down as my lips touched her neck, “Oh there is plenty of privacy in here.”

Reagan’s body shifted in my arms so she was facing me, my hands pushing her dress down her perfect body revealing the white lace lingerie that was hiding underneath. “You’re beautiful.” I whispered, looking up at her from where I was now positioned on my knees as I helped her out of her dress. My hands rested on her thighs as I began to kiss her exposed belly, trailing my tongue over her hip bones.

Reagan’s hands rested on my head, gripping my hair as a moan slipped passed her lips, her head falling back and her breath beginning to hitch. Not able to wait a second longer I quickly rose up off of the ground and lifted her body, her legs instinctively wrapping around my hips.

Our mouths collided as she forced my jacket over my shoulders, her fingers tangling with each button on my white button up before she had my bare chest exposed. I’d managed to rid her of her wedding day body armor that was holding her perfect tits in place and now she was lying there on the bed in nothing but a pair of see through white lace panties with stockings that rested just in the center of her thighs.

I stood there taking in my wife, her nipples hardening with the cool air that blew down from the vents above and her chest rising and falling in anticipation of what was yet to come.

Unable to control myself any longer I dropped to my knees and pulled Reagan’s body toward the edge of the bed, throwing her legs over my shoulders. I lightly kissed the insides of her thighs, slipping my tongue out to taste the warmth of her skin, teasing her body, knowing that she’d soon be begging for more. I slowly passing over her wet center that was still covered in lace as I blew my breath softly over her.

Her hips bucked and her fingers were instantly tangled in my hair, not allowing my head to leave from its current position, “Please, Cole,” she whimpered, begging me to give her what she wanted.

“Are you ready for me, baby?” I asked, knowing the answer already as I could see her wetness seeping through her panties.

“Yes,” she pleaded, “I need to feel your mouth on me.”

And without further hesitation I slipped her soaking wet panties off of her, tossed them aside and buried my face between her legs. My tongue covered in her sweet juices as it darted in and out of her wet center.

Her moans making it apparent that I was giving her exactly what she needed as her legs began to tighten around me, “Oh...Cole...please...don’t...stop!” She shouted, each word interrupted by a deep, heavy pant. And I didn’t, not until her entire body was bucking with pleasure underneath my tongue.

I allowed her to lie there and catch her breath for a quick moment as I slipped my pants from around my waist, exposing my rock hard erection that had been screaming for release since I’d seen her walking down the aisle toward me earlier that day.

Reagan propped up on her elbows a
nd stared at me as I took it in my hand and began slowly stroking it, her breath beginning to pick up speed again. Unable to contain myself I climbed on the bed, scooped Reagan up into my arms and quickly switched places with her as I placed her down on top of my lap, her wet center pressed against me.

Not hesitating for even a moment she reached for my hard dick and directed it right where it belonged, between her legs. Her body came crashing down atop of me as I filled her with my erection, both of us matching the other thrust for thrust.

My fingers dug into Reagan’s hips as I lifted her up and slammed her back down each time. I could feel my body begging for more as I grew bigger and bigger inside of her. Taking my hands from her hips I reached up and grabbed her breasts rolling her nipples between my fingers and her head fell back as a loud moan sailed past her lips, “Harder Cole.” She panted as she rocked back and forth on my lap.

A grin grew on my face and I instantly brought both hands back to her hips pounding deeper and deeper into my wife until we could take it no more. Both of our bodies released and Reagan collapsed down on top of me, her body rising and falling as she did her best to catch her breath.

We laid there, bodies tangled in a sweaty mess until we were both breathing at a normal rate again. Reagan was the first to move, lifting her head and looking down at me, “I hope the stewardesses didn’t hear us.” She said as a giggle escaped her.

I rolled our bodies, now hovering over Reagan, both of my hands on either side of her head, “I don’t give a damn if they did, I plan on making you scream my name this entire flight baby.”
